 Synopsis:

A woman in her sixties who, after losing everything in the Great Recession, embarks on a trip through the American West, living as a van- dwelling ultramodern- day rambler.  

Storyline:

 Following the profitable collapse of a company city in pastoral Nevada, Fern( Frances McDormand) packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a ultramodern- day rambler. The third point film from director Chloé Zhao, NOMADLAND features real gadabouts Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern's instructors and comrades in her disquisition through the vast geography of the American West.
